Families in abroad
At present, there are several families in abroad (the USA, Germany, Hungary), whose ancestors left Slovakia (former Czechoslovakia, Austro-Hungarian Empire) and moved to new countries.
In the following text, there is a path to each family on this web side. Some branches (vetva) are divided to the lines (línia), and the lines are divided to the families (rodina). You will found more information there, but only in Slovak at present. At the bottom of each of this pages there is a file in pdf format with all necessary information in English.
John Kaclik (1880-1967)
John (originally Ján Faško-Kaclík) moved from Beňuš-Filipovo to the USA in 1905 probably. The descendants of John and his wife Anna Matinec (for e. Joe, John, Marianne, Ruth, Megan) have lived mostly in Braddock area, in Pennsylvannia, USA.

John Joseph Kaclik (1889-)
John (originally Ján Faško-Kaclík) moved from Beňuš-Gašparovo to East Vandergrift, in Pennsylvannia, USA in 1906. The descentants of John and his wife Mary Bandura (for e. John G., Debi, Nancy) have lived mostly in Pittsburgh area, in Pennsylvannia, USA.

Vincent Kaslik (Kaslick, Kaclik) (1888-1970)
Vincent (originally Vincent Faško-Kaclík, the brother of my grandfather) moved to Braddock, in Pennsylvannia, USA in 1905 and together with his wife Amelia lived in Gary,in Indiana, USA. Their descendants named Wahley and Sperka have lived in Gary area yet.

Simon S. Fasko (1878-1957)
Simon (originally Šimon Faško) moved from Beňuš-Gašparovo to Braddock, in Pennsylvannia, USA in 1902. He and his two wives Mary Macz and Sabina Licko lived in Cleveland, in Ohio, USA. The descendants of Simon (for e. Ellen, Ed Fasko, Jerry, Travis, Janis) have lived mostly in Cleveland area yet.

Andrew Fasko (1894–cca 1948)
Andrew (originally Andrej Faško) moved from Brezno to Yonkers, USA in 1910. His sisters came to USA too – Mary Fasko (1889-1963) in 1907, Susan (1891-1975) before 1916 and Anna (1902-1994) in 1920. The descendants of Andrew (wife Suzan Raztocky) and his sisters (for e. Cynthia, Ed Kozelnicky, Ivy) have lived in Pennsylvannia, USA yet.

Daniel Fasko (1919-2003)
Daniel (originally Daniel Faško) moved from Brezno, in Czechoslovakia to the USA after 1948. His descendants (for e. Daniel Jr., Heather) live in Ohio and Florida, USA.

Peter Fasko (1895-1968)
Peter (originaly Peter Faško) moved from Valaská Belá (Belapotok in Hungarian language) to Milwaukee, in Wisconsin, USA in 1914. The descendants of Peter and his wife Emily Okruhlica (for e. Steven, Jody) live in Chicago area, in Illinois, USA.

Matthias Fasko (1914-2000)
Matthias (originally Matej Faško) moved from Beňuš-Pôbišovo, in Czechoslovakia to Salzburg in Austria before 1942. Descendants of Matthias and Aloisia Kodric (for e. Peter, Raphael) live in Switzerland today.

Samuel Fasco (Fasko) (1653-1697)
Jacob (Jakub) from Brezno (father of Samuel) with his 3 brothers got a noble title in 1651. He moved from Brezno to Bazing (Pezinok, Hungarian Kingdom, today in southwestern Slovakia). Samuel studied in Wittenberg, in Germany. He lived in 17. century in Bouxwiller or Strassbourg, France. His descendants named Fasco (for e. Richard, Uta, Jochen) live in Pirmasens and Waldfischbach-Burgalben area, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany

Family from Tótkomlós
Some members of Fasko family lived in 19. century in Tótkomlós (Slovenský Komlóš) in southeastern Hungary. Their ancestors came here cca in 18. century. They are originally from Noble branch from Brezno probably. More of them moved from Tótkomlós to Galanta area in south Slovakia after 1948. Today they live (Pavel, Kamila, Edit) in Galanta area (with surname Faško) and in Hungary (Orosháza near Tótkomlós, Budapest, Tótkomlós probably) with surname Faskó.
